It is a biennial, juried exhibition showcasing the innovative range of work being produced by Western Australian artists who challenge the usual concept of the ‘quilt’ medium. Alongside the exhibition it is anticipated that there will be an artist-in-residence programme with artists happy to welcome visitors.
stitched and bound 2026/2027, will be at Midland Junction Arts Centre (MJAC), Perth from 1 May to 28 June. Conditions of entry are available. Online Entries for the exhibition are now closed and the entries have been juried with entrants advised of outcomes.

MJAC regular opening hours are:
Tue – Fri 10am – 5pm, Sat & Sun 11am – 3pm | Closed Mon & Public Holidays.
MJAC will program workshops run by textile artists featured in the exhibition.
