Recently the stitched and bound exhibition travelled to its first stop Esperance.
Which had about 40 visitors on opening night! What a wonderful start to the regional
tour of the 24/25 exhibition. Some comments from that exhibition are below.
From here the exhibition will travel to the Goldfields then further afield. Looking
forward to the reaction there for this wonderful exhibition.
We had a wonderful night with approximately 40 in attendance, including
representatives from Esperance Bay Rotary club and Michael and Gillian Florisson
(sponsors).
The Cannery is honoured to have this exhibition in Esperance, art director
Marcia Leonard said not just because it features textile artists from all over
WA but especially because the selected works in two by Esperance artists.
“we were absolutely blown away with it all so of course when the proposal
came up to the board they said yes”
